Why should I become a member?

The society aims to present Islam in its true and balanced form, get involved in almost every aspect of university life, and it's here to help you. However,  without your support it is not possible. There are number of benefits of becoming a member, click here. for details. 
 
How come the Society's name is Muslim Society instead of Islamic Society like in other universities?

The founders of the society decided that it will be beneficial to have this name.  
 
What's the difference between the two types of membership i.e. associate and full?

Full membership is for one academic year (i.e. you have to renew it every year) while associate membership is for life. Associate membership is free while full membership has a very small fees (usually from 2 to 5 pounds) per academic year.Click here more information.

Constitution, is that really necessary? what are the advantages if any? Do I have to follow it if I become a member?

You have to follow the constitution. In order to do things in a proper & organised way, it is important to have a constitution.
